Freedom for my people, independence for my country, these are all that I want and all that I understand!.

The 21st century - ‘Africa’s century’ is witnessing a strong transformation across the continent Including high and stable economic growth, boom digital revolution, formed internal market with great potential, rapid urbanization and industrialization, ect. The outstanding changes in Africa changed the world’s perception of this continent. Africa is increasingly becoming an important partner of countries around the world, a competitive region for influence between great powers.

But, poverty, inequality and resource loss are widespread in Africa. Since independence, Africa with straight administrative borders was divided by European empires after their withdrawal. In fact, Africa has never had true ‘independence and sovereignty”, civil wars and coups in many African countries have not ended yet. This stemmed from France’s returning of nominal independence to African with conditions regarding financial and monetary control, resources and markets access, and military presence in Africa. This constraint has caused the young African generation to ask: Why does resource-rich Africa remain the poorest region of the world?.

This reality has shown that President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology of independence and freedom and the right strategic goal of the Vietnamese revolution is to make the country completely independent and carry out a people’s democratic revolution to gain the national independence. President Ho Chi Minh affirmed that if the country is independent but people are not beneficiaries from happiness or freedom, then that independence is meaningless. Therefore, Uncle Ho was always steadfast to fulfill the aspiration: Freedom for my people, independence for my country, these are all that I want and all that I understand!.
